The Woodland Tennis Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1937. It was reactivated after the demise of Country Oaks Racquet Club in 2006. The club is a member of the USTA.
The purpose of the Woodland Tennis Club is to promote, encourage and foster the development and growth of tennis for the Woodland community. WTC strives to make tennis accessible to all ages and skill levels through social, instructional and team-based activities.
The club currently has 130+ members. The skill levels, diversity of age and backgrounds make this a dynamic and fun gathering of people from Woodland, Davis, Dixon, and Vacaville. The club has two pros that support tennis lessons, clinics, and social events
The club plans in the near future to add 11 new tennis courts located the Woodland Community and Senior Center in which Woodland Recreation Foundation will support the funding efforts.
